Optimum end-to-end productivity
Consistent speeds of 100 ppm offer optimum end-to-end productivity without compromising quality. It can also run at maximum speed and effortlessly produce duplex print jobs on stock up to 350gsm. A Dual Fixing unit with enhanced cooling delivers better mixed media handling, with stable fixing performance at high speed. An air compressor prevents multi-paper feeds for printing onto thin, coated media as light as 70gsm, with virtually no paper jams. Automatic registration control minimises downtime, while Operator Maintenance speeds up servicing and maintenance.
Maximum versatility
The imagePRESS C10000VP offers an extensive range of digital front ends and in-line finishing for innovative ap​plications across a wide range of media. A choice of controllers includes EFI (two options), PRISMAsync and CREO. The PRISMAsync controller offers one point of control for your entire production, with intuitive operation and efficient task splitting, and includes IPDS functionality for transactional printing. The EFI controller supports Fiery fast variable data printing for high margin personalised printing. The CREO controller is ideal for graphic arts and can integrate with professional workflows with open connectivity using JDF standards. A choice of automated in-line finishing capabilities includes booklet making, in-line perfect binding, high capacity stacking and multiple folding options together with third-party in-line finishing devices. A new professional puncher supports a range of additional formats and inline creasing is also available.
Exceptional print quality
Innovative technologies ensure state-of-the-art quality from first to last print without compromising on productivity. Canon’s newly developed consistently vivid (CV) toner improves transfer efficiency for enhanced colour consistency and accuracy across a wide variety of media – even textured - while a side guide for skew correction ensures highly accurate active registration every time. The R-VCSEL laser unit achieves an 2,400 dpi resolution for high precision printing of text and images. Offset-like dot screen or line based screen patterns give increased flexibility. An in-line spectroscopic sensor and new Multi-Density Adjustment Technology (Multi D.A.T) deliver real time colour calibration to ensure consistent quality – with minimal operator intervention.
